Developing a scheme business plan

In late November 2017 TPR turned its attention to scheme’s business plans as part of its consideration of 21st Century trusteeship. Helpfully this includes a sample annual planner and business plan. However, given the central role of covenant within such plans we have given some thought as how they may be further developed to ensure compliance with the Regulators codes of practice. Whilst the structuring of business plans may be familiar territory to some trustees we appreciate for many this will be new skill set. Consideration of business plans is a part of our day to day work and so we would be delighted to help trustees put together such a plan or review a draft for compliance with TPR’s guidance.
